Q: I have confidential client documents in my home office. Are they safe?
A: As a member of the AAPO (Australasian Association of Professional Organisers), we are under oath to the keep all client information, both business and personal, strictly confidential. We will respect the confidential nature of your information and will not use anything without your express permission.
Q: Will I have to throw things out?
A: We aren’t there to force you to part with sentimental belongings or make you hire a skip. We help you sort your belongings into categories that include “need”, “love”, “rubbish”, “storage”, “donate” and “sell”. If you don’t want to part with anything, you don’t have to!
Q: How long will it take?
A: Every client’s needs are different. During our initial consultation, you will be given an estimate as to how long the processes will take. Our process is flexible and you can even split it over a few days if you would prefer.
Q: How involved will I be?
A: It’s your home — and your belongings. In order for your home to remain organised, you need to understand and accept the changes being made. The more involved you are in the process, the better the long-term outcome will be! If there are circumstances or limitations preventing you from participating, we are happy to discuss!
Q: I really need the help but I’m worried what the organiser will think of me. Will they think I’m lazy?
A: Of course not! We are not in your home to judge you at all. This is what we do for a living and if you were the only person to be a little bit unorganised, we wouldn’t have a job in the first place! We have busy lives, families and hectic careers too!
Q: I want to get organised, but can I do it in my own time?
A: Of course! After our free initial consultation, we can write you a DIY plan for your area, so you can get into it piece by piece at your own pace.
